Message from the Representative　代表からのメッセージ

In recent times, Japanese sake has become widely recognised alongside Japanese cuisine for its delicate and smooth flavour and aroma. Sake brewing in Nadagogo, considered the best sake-producing region in Japan, began as early as the Muromachi period (1336-1573). During the Edo period (1603-1868), sake was shipped on special ships to the capital, Edo (now Tokyo), and became very popular. By the end of the Edo period, 80% of sake in Edo came from Nadagogo, making it a historical gem of Japanese food culture. We will do our utmost to ensure that Nadagogo sake, a part of Japanese history and culture, is loved and enjoyed by people all over the world.

その繊細で芳醇な味と香りで、昨今日本食と共に広く認知されるようになった日本酒。日本一の酒どころと言われる灘五郷の酒作りは、古く室町時代（1336~1573）から始まりました。江戸時代（1603~1868）には、専用船で首都である江戸（現在の東京）に運ばれ、広く親しまれ、後期には、江戸の酒の8割が灘の酒であったという、歴史ある日本の食文化の逸品です。私達は、日本の歴史と文化である灘五郷の酒を、広く海外の方々に愛され、楽しんでいただけるように尽力いたします。
